Tigers 15-Cubs 8 This game was to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Tigers-Cubs World Series, which was the first Series after WWII ended. Our group was hosted by Todd Ricketts, whose family owns Wrigley Field and the Cubs. Todd and my wife are fellow Board of Trustees members at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans. I also attended 2 Cubs games the first week of April, 1989. It was 37 degrees with snow flurries, and miserable, yet they played!
