Memorial Stadium in Lincoln features “The best fans” in college football. While the stadium itself is old, it is wonderfully maintained and the new additions to East and West stadiums bring a modern feel to the venue. Cornhuskers are generally very friendly, talkative, and good sports. It is consistently ranked in the top 10 best college venues to visit. Memorial stadium has been sold out since 1962, state law was created to ban the passing of tickets in family wills, and when the stadium is full it becomes the third largest city in Nebraska. If there for the weekend, be sure to check out the volleyball team at the recently renovated Bob Devaney Sports Center as well. Wear red, be loud, and Go Big Red!
